True-crime docuseries on RTVE Play about the death of Lucía Garrido, found in the swimming pool of her home in Málaga in 2008. Her sister’s fight to reopen the case uncovers a plot involving Guardia Civil officers. Produced by El Cañonazo, with Tomás Ocaña Urwitz directing the first season and Santi Aguado the second.
The score for both seasons is experimental true-crime music: deep and emotionally draining, like a web that wraps around everything. It is built with modular synthesis, strings and a Yamaha CS-50, and each main character or group of characters has its own timbre.
