Los Galgos

ECAM short film directed by Gabriel Azorín: three childhood friends spend a weekend in the countryside and, after a long night of drinking, pick up four greyhounds and go hunting. Selected at some twenty festivals, including San Sebastián, and awarded at Versión Española, Zinebi, Alcine and Octubre Corto.

The premise was for everything to grow out of the diegetic sounds of the forest: what the characters hear and, above all, what they feel, and how that warps as the story unfolds. Along the way, analogue synthesisers found their way in.
