L'Electromechanique
Work for cello and piano premiered on 7 December 2016 by Ensemble DRAMA! (Erica Lauren Wise and Lluïsa Espigolé) in the Compositores Sub-35 series at the Fundación Juan March.
The title refers to the mix of traditional instruments and electric transformations. Its theoretical basis comes from Indian classical music: six sections moving through different rasa, or emotional states, around a fundamental tone and its resonances.
