For most of the piece, sound design leads: a huge number of effects and a musical build-up that piles on tension towards the final blast, when music and effects erupt together with the last explosion. That ending drops into electronica in the vein of Justice or Ratatat.
The car’s sound is a hybrid between a purely electric motor and the roar of sports engines. The main challenge was the meticulous design of the effects.
