Stage version of Lars von Trier’s Dancer in the Dark, Palme d’Or in 2000, which opened in February 2019 at the Teatro Fernán Gómez in Madrid, directed by Fernando Soto, with Marta Aledo as Selma.
When Björk withdrew the rights to her music, a new score had to be written. The songs keep the style of the film and draw on musicals from different eras and styles.
